6B Unit3 A healthy diet教学反思

12月24日下午,太仓市乡村培育站在弇山小学开展了《小学英语高阶互动乐学阅读教学实践研究》的说课活动,在本次模拟教学情境中,我的对文本的把握还不够深刻,尤其是最后拓展环节Writing

六下Unit3 A healthy diet的Story板块讲述了MikeYang Ling的饮食情况,并在结尾询问:Does Mike have a healthy diet? Does Yang Ling have a healthy diet?文中却并未给出具体答案。我抓住这一契机,引导学生深度思考,分析MikeYang Ling的饮食情况,但并没有对他们不健康的饮食情况提出建议,我应该从多个角度阐述理由,输出语篇。在写作环节中,我主要从两方面努力:

1. 提纲挈领,搭建框架

首先,带领学生回顾Story time文本内容,找出Mike日常饮食不健康的部分。

[教学片段]

T: Whats in Mikes diet? (Finish the information card) Does Mike have a healthy diet? Tick out the unhealthy part.

S1: Mike likes eating sweets, cakes and ice cream.

S2: He does not like drinking water.

S3: He doesnt have vegetables or fruit.

T: If youre a dietitian, give some advice to Mike.

S1: Mike shouldnt eat too much sweet food.

S2: He should drink more water.

S3: He should eat more vegetables.

将学生给Mike的建议作为写作的要点(key points)列出来。

A. Have less sweet food.

B. Drink more water every day.

C. Eat more vegetables and fruits

2. 多维思考,精雕细琢

在上述环节,我们为Mike提出了建议,一般情况下,我们只会止步于此。但此时的建议只回答了“What”这一个维度的问题,随后,我应该继续引导学生从“Why”和“How”这两个维度分析,让建议更加有信度、有力度。以第三条建议为例:

T: Why should we eat more vegetables and fruits?

S1: Because vegetables and fruits are good for our skin and body.

S2: Because they give us vitamins and energy.

S3: When we dont have enough vegetables and fruits, we will be ill.

T: Do you have ideas how to eat vegetables and fruits correctly?

S1: We should eat different kinds of vegetables in a meal every day.

S2: We can eat some fruit between meals.

T:Then write down your advice in details.

将师生共同探讨的内容整理成篇:提出建议、阐述理由、说明如何实施。

Dear Mike,

Im your dietitian. I think you can have a healthier diet. Heres my advice for you.

Eat more vegetables and fruits.

You dont have enough vegetables or fruit in meals. Its not so good. Vegetables and fruits are good for our skin and body. They give us vitamins and energy. You should eat different kinds of vegetables in a meal. You can eat some fruit between meals every day.

   当然,扩写有一定的难度,可能只有小部分学生能够达到要求,教师要提供一定的语言知识、技能方面的帮助,让学生顺利进行写作。这样的写作练习会不断提高学生的写作能力,在平时的教学中,我们也要多创造学生写作的机会。
