【教材内容】

译林英语四年级上册Unit 6 At the snack bar (Story time)

【教学目标】

1.知识目标:  

(1)能听懂、会说、会读单词snack bar, a cup of coffee, a glass of juice, a glass of milk,

a hamburger, noodles, a sandwich.  

(2)能听懂、会说、会读,会说日常用语What would you like? I’d like…What about you? Anything else?  

(3)能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,并能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语进行点餐。

2.技能目标:  

(1)能够用英语进行点餐;

(2)知道常见食物的英文表达。

3.情感目标:  

(1)通过本单元的学习,培养学生的英语交际能力,了解餐桌上的礼节。

(2)学会合理安排饮食、健康饮食并培养孩子互帮互助,团体合作的精神。

【教学过程】

Before-class activities:

1. 头脑风暴。(根据分类,写出你学过或知道的单词)

Food(食物):  hot dog,                                                         

Drinks(饮料)juice,                                                    

Toys(玩具):  toy car,                                                       

Clothes(服饰): sweater,                                                        

2. 写一写你知道的购物用语。

                                                                     

                                                                        

【设计意图】复习学过的四类单词,以旧带新,有助于学生开口表达,理解好课文意思,并能在表演环节运用这些单词来表达。

While-class activities:

Step 1 Pre-reading

1. Greetings

2. Sing a song  

Song: What would you like for dinner? 让学生跟着音乐哼唱歌曲,配以动作演唱。

【设计意图】:通过听歌曲歌谣的形式,创设了良好的英语学习氛围,为学习新课做好铺垫。

3. Let’s enjoy

a. Watch a cartoon.----The little match girl

b. What’s wrong with the little match girl?

Would you like to help her?

【设计意图】德育渗透:Help others is to help myself.帮助别人就是帮助自己。引出新授的食物和饮料类单词,帮助卖火柴小女孩的同时,教授这些内容。

3.Let’s say

a.Where can we buy food or drinks?

b.T: This is a snack bar. What would you like?

c.Work in pairs  

--What would you like?

--I’d like...

4.Let’s guess

a.Guess the drinks  

b.What’s the difference between cup and glass?

c.Lets chant.

The little match girl is very happy now.

【设计意图】德育渗透:Help othersmake yourself happy.帮助别人,快乐自己!

引出餐厅的优惠活动,来帮助Mike一家积满10分,可以得到惊喜礼物噢!

Step 2 While-reading

【设计意图】通过帮助Mike一家获得餐厅积分,来完成课文的理解性练习,采取情境教学法和任务教学法相结合的教学方式,帮助学生更好地理解掌握好课文内容。

【设计意图】通过不同形式的朗读,让学生熟练掌握课文,为下一步表演奠定基础。

Step 4 Homework  

1. Read and imitate the story.  

2. Invite your friends to enjoy the food at the weekends.
